Thorntree Press is thrilled to announce that we’ve signed three well-known writers to write books on polyamory for our 2015 season. We are funding production and publicity costs through an Indiegogo campaign. We have already raised nearly $2,500 of our $19,110 goal in the two days since launch.

Franklin Veaux, The Game Changer (September 30, 2015)
Franklin is the co-author of the groundbreaking new bookMore Than Two: A Practical Guide to Ethical Polyamory, and the author of the Web’s top-ranked polyamory site,morethantwo.com. He is also the creator of Onyx: The Game of Sexual Exploration, maintains the sites xeromag.com, symtoys.com and thinkbeyond.us, publishes erotic fiction under the pen name William Vitelli, and is the co-founder of both Thorntree Press and the Vancouver, Canada-based sex toy R&D company Tacit Pleasures.
Franklin has written, in More Than Two and on his blog, about the “game-changing relationship”: the relationship that changes you, and what you want from life, so much that it upsets what you’d thought were the stable, permanent, comfortable rules of the game. Game-changing relationships can make your life better, but change is hard – and it can be particularly hard for the other people in your life, who didn’t necessarily sign on to having you change, and may feel left behind. They are, by definition, disruptive. They can be burdened by shame stemming from monogamous norms, and polyamorous people don’t yet have good models for dealing with them.
Over a decade ago, Franklin had a game-changing relationship that changed his life and forever altered his thinking about polyamory (and the writings at morethantwo.com). The Game Changer will share that story, to help anyone who’s ever experienced a game-changing relationship understand they are not alone, and there is a path through what may feel like madness.
Stretch goal: Coming Out Poly: A Booklet for Family and Friends
If the Indiegogo campaign meets its stretch goal of $25,000, Dr. Sheff will be writing an e-book, for publication in fall 2015, that a polyamorous person can give to family and friends when they’re coming out, to help educate them about polyamory. The book will also be available as a printable PDF handout. All campaign backers will get a copy!
In addition to the books, we’re offering a number of other rewards, many of which will ship in time for the holidays. Please visit the campaign page to learn more about them and contribute!
